The Critical alarm level is the most severe alarm level - indicates severe loss of energy, safety, or plant stability.
The High alarm level is for a condition causing, or may soon cause loss of energy.
The Warning Alarm level can be used to indicate events that may not cause loss of energy, but may eventually need attention.
Notices can be used to notify users when an event occurs that may not be an alarm condition, but instead a condition they are watching, or a regularly scheduled event.
By acknowledging an alarm, users signify their awareness of its existence and their acceptance of responsibility for addressing it.
