Removing Connection Barriers
As more Independent Power Producers (IPP) connect to the grid, utilities are requiring intertie protective requirements be put in place. These measures have long been implemented for utility-scale distributed energy resources, and now, low voltage and behind-the-meter projects are facing the same.
ClearSky Light delivers protective relay to IPPs without the expensive engineering, bulky equipment, and the long lead times often associated with the utility-scale solutions. However, it is built to the same ruggedized standards for reliability and long service life.

Meeting the ANSI/IEEE requirements, ClearSky Light’s lock-out relay expands control and protection by requiring a manual reset in order to resume normal operation.
