FOCUS 2.0 is here! The major update brings more accessibility, security and a more enhanced UI to all users. Now, anyone can access FOCUS- even users who don’t yet work with Aderis Energy.

Take Ownership & Accessibility to Another Level

  • New Roles Based Security Authentication (RBSA) security model that provides fine-grained permissions based on typical owner / operator / maintenance / engineer / public viewer job roles. Customers will have the ability to:

    • Create their own custom security roles

    • Limit role and user access to individual facilities for portfolio segregation.

    • FOCUS uses AWS Cognito as the default customer identity and access management (CIAM) service.

    • The new RBSA model lays the foundation for single-sign-on (SSO) capabilities between FOCUS and multiple Acuity instances. No more multiple user accounts and passwords. Simply add a user to your organization, choose which facilities they can see, and what permissions they have done.

Facility Sharing, UI Enhancements & More

FOCUS 2.0 introduces ‘Facility Sharing’ across organizations, in support of the Owner vs. Asset Manager, and O&M service models. Facility owners will now have the ability to ‘share’ RBSA controlled role access to specific facilities with third part support organizations on a until-cancelled or date-expiration basis.

FOCUS 2.0 delivers a refined and overhauled UI to support customer driven management of users, facilities, reporting, and more.

FOCUS 2.0 rolls out our upgraded equipment management toolset that supports warranty tracking, network configuration, device level documents, and make/model level shared documentation support information.
