Production Specialist

Overview - We're looking for a controls panel build specialist to support our light manufacturing needs for UL 508a industrial control panel assembly and wiring for Large Scale Solar PV, Battery Storage, and advanced plant control.

Salary Range - $45,000 - $60,000

Position Overview – In concert with our solutions fulfillment team, this position is responsible the assembly, wiring, QA/QC, and documentation of UL 508a industrial control panels based on electrical wiring and mechanical panel drawings.

Job Responsibilities – Include, but are not limited to:

·      Participate in weekly production planning meetings to align scheduling priorities.

·      Kit components and materials for approved project based on the specified bill of materials.

·      Mechanically assemble components and backplanes for inspection.

·      Wire control panels per electrical wiring diagrams using harnesses and manual connection materials.

·      Apply wiring and panel labeling per wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.

·      Point to point verify all wiring terminations and runs.

·      Apply test power for power supply adjustment and UPS, fuse, and bus verifications (24V DC & 120V AC)

·      Work with internal integrations engineer for networking and computer communications and power failure/recovery testing.

Minimum Qualifications

·      Required - Proficient communicator via phone, TXT, and email

·      Required - Creating technical documents using MS Office (or equivalent) software products.

·      Required – Electrical wiring experience and basic knowledge of electrical circuits

Requirements

 ·      Possess a valid NC Driver’s License

·      Pass Background, Drug Test and have a clean Driving History (MVR)

·      Able to travel 5-10% of each quarter when customer support is required

·      Must be able to lift 25 pounds regularly unassisted
