Overview - We're looking for developers interested in using their experience in real time control, industrial automation, and embedded controller experience to implement and build tools that enable the future of energy - Large Scale Solar PV, Battery Storage, and advanced plant control.

Salary Range - $50,000 - $70,000

Position Overview – In concert with our professional staff, this position is responsible for developing new functionality and system implementation of energy management systems in support of the transition to renewable energy resources.

Job Responsibilities – Include, but are not limited to: 

·      Coordinate with manufacturing teams to develop/configure parallel power plant control and energy automation control solutions to support the timely delivery of custom orders.

·      Directly participate in the final remote commissioning and testing of these systems for customer acceptance.

·      Provide direct feedback to product development to steer our technical course to support upcoming trends and technologies to ensure our platforms remain supportable.

·      Document new features and configuration requirements to enable product support for our sales and operations teams.

Minimum Qualifications

·      Required - Proficient communicator via phone, TXT, and email.

·      Required - Creating technical documents using MS Office (or equivalent) software products.

·      Required – Demonstratable experience implementing control systems using PLCs, RTAC, RTU, embedded controller, Ardunio, Raspberry PI, and other embedded controller hardware-software solutions.

·      Strongly Preferred – SEL RTAC programming experience using the tag processor and structured text interfaces.

Requirements 

·      Possess a valid NC Driver’s License

·      Pass Background, Drug Test and have a clean Driving History (MVR)

·      Able to travel 5-10% of each quarter when customer support is required

·      Must be able to lift 25 pounds regularly unassisted
